The Pietenpol's engine has been mounted, and Pat Panzera, of Contact Magazine, was present to give a forum on the Corvair engine and its use in aircraft (Thanks, Pat!) While he was here, he took some video, which he's posted at YouTube:       EAA Chapters in Action

Chapter 1279 and the folks at FFCAP set a record on the 12th, giving 54 young people their first ride in an airplane (big jets don't count:)). Fifteen pilots from both FFCAP and 1279, all of whom are EAA members, flew all 54 kids one at a time. Once again, Don Evans, with the help of all his volunteers, staged a rally where more young people get to experience the excitement of flight for the first time...
