This is the Lexus of RV-8As.  It has a Lycoming 0360-A1A (180 hp) coupled to a Hartzell constant speed (variable pitch) prop.  The engine was new from the factory and has 30 hours on it.

Two independent electrical systems that can be bootstrapped if one fails.  Automatic bootstrap for starting.

Chelton EFIS flight system with multifunction display, processor, GPS receiver, engine/air data unit, engine probes and AHRS gyro (no moving parts).  My son says it's slicker than his Boeing 737.
