Ron's RV-7A Project          -Delivery Day-

10-22-06-  "Susan and I did a lot of traveling in July and August so not much progress to report.  However on Oct 18, 2006 we ran the new XP 0-360 for the first time.  Good oil pressure but no right mag!  After retiming the right mag (which had earlier been removed to install an oil pressure fitting) we got a good mag check and cycled the prop.........no leaks, runs smooth.  Lots of wiring still to be finished and other punch list items, but N14SR is getting really close to first flight.  Can't guess when that will be, but not too long from now I hope!"

05-21-06-  "Here's the latest photos. Wings on temporarily, again, slider canopy and wind screen ready for fiberglass, engine baffles in progress, cowlings retty much finished, left side of instrument panel with the AOA indicator, trim tab indicator, Truetrak pictorial pilot, Dynon EFIS, and STEAM GAUGES! Most of the airframe wiring, switches, breakers and avionics wiring in place (thanks to Prohub) ready to be connected. "90% complete 90% to go!" I think I see a very small light at the end of the tunnel. Application for registration sent to the FAA last week. N14SR reserved."

Ron and Susan     (ed. note- ask Ron about the clocks...)

01-10-06-   "Horizontal stabilizer bolted in place today, fitting the vertical."

12-28-05-    "Hi folks.   Here's the latest as of Dec.28. Russ Baldauf holding the vertical stab, Dick Staley and Ron Hull shaking hands after installing the wings for rigging. Many thanks to Russ and Dick and John Nelson of Precision Aircraft for their help and moral support.   Ron."

12-12-05-    Making progress. See the completed wings in the back corner... Also note the glass panel mock-up.

8-07-05-Delivery Day-  "...My RV7-A quickbuild kit arrived this morning!!!!!!! They say that when it's delivered, it's far enough along that you can sit in it and make airplane noises.  It's TRUE!!!"       (2 pictures, one with new member Russ Baldauf)
