N8322E is a Mooney M20A. It was built in 1959 in Kerrville Texas, in the same plant where Mooney builds airplanes today. It originally had a wooden wing and tail, however I have converted the tail to an all metal unit. It has an 180HP Lycoming and a constant speed prop. It cruises just over 160mph at under 10 gph.

I found the airplane in a hanger in Demming, New Mexico where it had sat for 22 years. I paid $5,000 for the airplane and have invested close to $15,000 in the process of restoring it. I have had the airplane for ten years. The engine, interior and avionics package are finished, but the exterior is yet unpainted. it has been and always will be a work in progress.
