5/12-   Member Ron Hull has sent his latest pictures. For those who may not be familiar, Ron took delivery of an RV-7A QuickBuild kit and sold his Aircoupe last year. He's been making steady progress ever since.>>>

-May 20th Young Eagles Rally at Fallbrook Community Airpark-

May 20th is Armed Forces Day, and the upcoming Young Eagles Rally is being held solely for the dependents of HMLA-367 from Camp Pendleton. We're anticipating 50 kids and 14 airplanes/pilots, and there will be a Burger Burn afterwards!

Pancake Breakfast Cancelled

5/11-   After several years at the event, Chapter 1279 will not be serving breakfast at this year's airshow at Hemet-Ryan Airport. So far, the County hasn't removed the reference from their website, but don't be misled. Please direct all inquiries to the webmaster.

 

Instead of serving breakfast, 1279 is applying for a vendor booth to promote our Chapter and distribute EAA brochures and promotional items. We'll be displaying photos taken at our Chapter Pietenpol workshops, Young Eagles rallies, etc. See you there!
